Privacy at Plinth.
This privacy notice explains how Plinth Property handles personal data when you browse this website, contact us, submit an enquiry or ask us to provide property advisory services.
Data we may collect.
| Enquiries | Name, email address, telephone number, preferred area, budget, timing, property interest and any message you send through the contact form. |
|---|---|
| Advisory relationship | Information you choose to provide about a purchase, sale, letting or investment requirement, including relevant correspondence and appointment details. |
| Website data | Technical information such as IP address, device/browser information, timestamps and server/security logs. Optional analytics or marketing data is only activated where required consent has been given. |
| Consent choices | Your cookie/privacy preference and the time at which that choice was stored. |
Why we use it.
We use personal data to respond to enquiries, arrange calls or viewings, provide and improve our services, administer client relationships, secure and operate the website, comply with legal obligations, and—where you have actively opted in—measure website use or marketing effectiveness.
Legal bases
- Contract or steps before a contract: where you ask us to provide property-related services.
- Legitimate interests: for proportionate business administration, fraud/security prevention and service improvement where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation: where applicable law requires us to retain or disclose information.
- Consent: for optional analytics, marketing technologies or other processing where consent is the appropriate legal basis.
International transfers.
If a supplier processes personal data outside the European Economic Area or another jurisdiction recognised as providing adequate protection, Plinth should ensure an appropriate transfer mechanism is in place, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards.
How long we keep data.
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, professional and dispute-resolution requirements. Enquiry records that do not develop into a client relationship should be periodically reviewed and deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
Your GDPR rights.
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request erasure or restriction, receive certain data in portable form, object to particular processing, and withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent.
You may also lodge a complaint with the data-protection supervisory authority in the EU/EEA country where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred.
